At the Crawford County Chamber, we see it differently. We believe a healthy, safe community is the backbone of a thriving economy. The Crawford County Safety Council: Open to All, Cost-Free
One of our favorite roles at the Chamber is hosting the Crawford County Safety Council. We want to clear up a few myths about how it works:
- Do I have to be a Chamber member to join? No!
- Does it cost money to be a member of the Safety Council? No! Membership is free.
- Do I have to be based in Crawford County? Not at all. As long as you can attend our meetings on a regular basis, you are welcome to join our Council.
Our mission is to make this entire region the safest place to live and work. That means opening our doors wide to every employer and employee, regardless of where your office is located or whether you’ve officially joined the Chamber yet.
You’re Invited: The Health & Safety Fair (Admission is FREE!)
This isn’t a stuffy corporate seminar; it’s a community-wide event designed for everyone. Whether you are a solo entrepreneur, a manager of fifty, or a local resident looking to improve your personal wellness, this fair is for you.

Why It Matters
For our business owners, participating in safety programs is just savvy. It protects your most valuable asset (your team) and can significantly impact your workers’ comp premiums. For our residents, it’s a chance to connect with local health resources and learn how to stay safe at home and on the job.
